The Resonant Failure

The Resonant Failure

When you fail,
Your expectations are shattered,
You find yourself alone,
And your mirror is splattered.
When you fail,
The forgotten becomes tactile,
The face you cannot feel,
The beard is prickly,
At least for a while,.
Yet that is but consequence,
Of the resonance,
Of the failure which you find,
It's all relative,
But never tentative,
And another seems close behind.
